To help you plan ahead, we ask about your preferences and choices, for a possible time in your life when you are unable to make your own decisions and about distribution of financial and property assets and care of loved ones, after your death. Your plan will provide clear guidance for a lawyer to prepare appropriate legal documents, which may include an Enduring Power of Attorney and Guardianship, Advanced Care Directive and of course, a Will.
When you have completed the ALN plan you can select a lawyer with the skills and experience to translate this into valid legal documents. An Australian Lawyers Network member that you select will review your plan and provide specific advice to ensure that legal documents prepared for you reflect your choices and are appropriate for your personal and family circumstances.
